Dr. Priyanka Karapasha

Dr. Priyanka Karapasha, “Dr. Pri,” is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor (Go Blue!) School of Dentistry and completed her pediatric dentistry residency training at The Ohio State University Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She concurrently obtained a Master of Science at The Ohio State University and also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan.

After graduating from residency, Dr. Pri worked in private practice and also as an attending for the NYU Langone Pediatric Dental Residency Program (Tampa site). She helped train the next generation of general dentists working towards obtaining their certification in Pediatric Dentistry. She then served as the Pediatric Dental Associate Director of the program.

As the only board-certified pediatric dentist offering in-office sedation in Brandon, Florida, Dr. Priyanka Karapasha is uniquely qualified to provide gentle, compassionate care for children.

Dr. Pri is proficient in the most advanced techniques in sedation and hospital dentistry, emergency care, dental trauma, and treatment of children with special needs and complex medical conditions. She continues to expand her skillset as she teaches and mentors residents while presenting at and attending countless lectures across the country. She is passionate about children’s oral health and has a lighthearted, gentle, and enthusiastic approach to dentistry.

In her free time, you can find Dr. Pri chasing her toddler son around the playground and trying to sneak in some time to play tennis.
